I mean, I've asked friends to vote in competitions I've entered before (not Elftown ones), but I've always told them to vote for the one they honestly feel is the best. Hopefully they vote for mine, but if they don't ~shrugs~ we're still friends. I've had friends who have told me they voted for someone else's picture.. and then give a full critique as to why, which is good because it's as important knowing where your weaknesses are as well as where your strengths are. I'd never ask a friend to be less than fully honest.. because honesty's what I value most in my friends.
